Where'bouts Inc. is a world-wide location scouting company based in New York City.

We bring together the location photos and resources of numerous scouts into one archive. We are the source that all production companies & location services go to for locations. The scouts that contribute to our site work independently, but share information among each other to give their clients a distinct advantage. All of us work as location scouts & managers and provide location photos, permits, police permissions, street closures, budgets and insurance needed for film/print shoots and events.

Mark Bodnar got his start location scouting/ managing in the 1990’s working with Spike Lee, Michael Mann, Alfonso Cuaron, Allajandro Inarritu, Barry Sonnenfeld and Whit Stillman. He founded Where’bouts Inc. in 2000, and has since worked on hundreds of commercial film/videos and print jobs. Mark’s hometown is NYC, but his location photography takes him scouting all around the world these days. Mark met Misha at the RISD dorms a very long time ago.

Misha Jenkins has lived in NYC for over 25 years. He is a location scout/ manager, photographer, and poet. He got his start in the 1990’s as a Prop and Art Director working on the films of Abel Ferrara, the Coen Brothers not to mention Wet Hot American Summer. In the early 2000’s, he transitioned into location scouting, and has since worked on hundreds of commercial film/videos and print jobs. Misha met Mark at the RISD dorms a very long time ago.
